LDN NOT WORKING ANYMORE

I would like to hear from any of you who have had their LDN stop working and

then start working again once they addressed their yeast problems, etc. I have

seen a lot of posts from people saying their LDN has stopped working and then

other posts on what to do if it stops working, but I have yet to see any posts

from people who had it stop working, addressed whatever issues they needed to,

and then had it start working again.

I had a little different experience, not that LDN stopped working for me,

but I started at 1.0 mg and a few weeks later upped it to 1.5 fairly

easily. But then a month or so later trying to get up to 2.0, I had

so many major sleep problems that I backed off, even though I was upping

it by just a small proportion of the extra 0.5 mg. Having read

about candida interfering, I stayed at 1.5 while working on candida (my

doctor agreed I probably had it). Now maybe 2.5 months on Diflucan,

I have upped the does easily again to 2.0. So, although LDN didn't

stop working for me, I can see that this approach of stopping to deal

with candida and then going back to it is probably a good one though I

didn't stop during the candida treatment as I felt it was still helping.

Don't forget also that we are told a good diet is a necessary compliment

to LDN, not a junk-food diet. Getting gluten out is probably most

important, then dairy for many people. It can be individual what annoys

your system.
