You've got it backwards. LDN should be compounded to be FAST release. Avicel and acidophilus fillers both work well.

I use my own liquid form of LDN so I can control the dose. It is very consistent and I've been at it for about three years. No need to crush the tab as it dissolves all by itself in about 10 minutes in 50 ml of water, and according to pharmacists, it remains in suspension.

I used to order Naltima from All Day Chemist, and dissolve it in liquid myself.Now, I take a prescription from a compounding pharmacy.\My concern, when I was doing it myself in liquid form, the liquid did not containa consistent amount of LDN.For instance, I crush a 50 mg tablet of Naltima, dissove it in water, then take3mg in a syringe. I have no way of knowing if that 3mg of liquid contains a consistent 3mg of LDN.On a side note, I asked the compounding pharmacy to use rice flour, instead of Avricel.The issue of compounding for calcium carbonate my affect the rice flour, of this I am not sure. The compacting of the filler effects the release of LDN, possibly making it less effective.Does anyone know the best filler to use when have LDN compounded.PS. I already asked for it to be slow releasing.
