Guest guest
My first post! I started LDN last week for my chronic fatigue/fibromyalgia. I have not had trouble sleeping since starting it, but I have had amazingly intense dreams! I immediately got worse after starting LDN, having shakiness, nervousness, more fatigue, etc. But then I figured out from the LDN website that somehow the LDN was making my thyroid dosage more powerful. When I cut back on my Armour's, things started leveling off. Anybody else have that problem?
Guest guest
Yes, had problems with my thyroid meds! Had to go off of my Armour altogether. I took it too long because I was living in San Diego helping a client transition from her home to her new living facility. I wasn't near my own doctor and didn't get blood work done. I have to say that I am glad my doctor was doing the blood work. He wouldn't give the scrip to me, but is loving the results. He is so excited, maybe he will change his mind? I hope so! Keep up with your blood work. That is all I can say. Glowing, grace~
Guest guest
does anyone know if a person has their thyroid removed if LDN would help...and it what way, would they be able to reduce meds for keeping things balanced? my daughter had her thyroid removed because she kept getting nodes that they thought could turn to cancer so she had removed, I don't think it was a good thing to do...but am looking to see if LDN would help? kaaren

Guest guest
I'd love to know the answer to your question, too. My daughter had her thyroid removed for the same reason as yours. I do know that I've just started LDN and have already had to lower my Armour's Thyroid. My thyroid was pretty much destroyed by radiation after breast cancer. I'm hoping I'll be able to get completely off of it....
