Guest guest Posted April 8, 2010 Report Share Posted April 8, 2010 Hello, I am currently suffering from Subclinical Hyperthyroidism/Graves Disease. I also have Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation and Flutter possibly as a result of the Autoimmune Thyroid disease. My CHADS score is "0" and take an aspirin daily. My physician was considering prescribing LDN for the Graves. He came upon some information that Naltrexone could possibly help or hinder my heart arrhythmia condition depending on the drugs effect on the Vagus Nerve. He is now hesitating on prescribing LDN. He has personally used and prescribed LDN successfully in the past. Does anyone know if LDN presents any serious heart threats besides a possible increased heart rate from the endorphins? I am not on any medications and still have my Thyroid intact. I would be a great test case to see if LDN is effective against Graves. Thanks for your help.
