Driver evaluation? Do you mean someone tests you to see if you are fit to drive

a car? Why is this costing $600? I dont understand how a doctor can impose

this on you? My husband has been on LDN for 5 years now and his neuro is a top

doctor from UCSF and it`s never been mentioned once! He sounds very agressive -

can you change doctors?

I know in the UK if someone is diagnosed with MS, they have to

inform the DVLA upon diagnosis (and they should be advised to inform the DVLA

from their GP to do this).  Every three years they need to apply for another

licence/insurance.  So far my partner who has SPMS hasn’t had a problem

in having his licence/insurance renewed.

I guess this is done for safety measures ie people with MS may

lose control of their legs, have problems with their eye sight etc.  If the

DVLA feel another driving test is in order, then they will request one, but

this is at no charge.
