I guess it doesn't seem that strange to me since the ultra low dose folks

are sometimes using an every-other-day schedule with it. I mean it's not

going to harm a person to ramp up to it the way her doc has suggested, and

since her scipt is already on the way it would be a real inconvenience to

change it at this point. The original website suggests people start at

4.5mg unless there is some known reason not to such as Hashi's which needs

to ramp slowly, or that muscle-cramping MS that is recommended to stay at

3.0mg. So I guess I don't see this as anything to be alarmed about. My

impression is that a lot of ppl start at 4.5mg just as is suggested on the

website. ? --

actually, this sounds more reasonable

I'd go with her DOCTOR's suggestion

[low dose naltrexone] re: question about dosing

Thats a strange thing to do to start off with! The days a week? It would be more sensible to start off with 1.5mg EVERY NIGHT and then just double up when you feel comfortable and then take three to make it the full 4.5mg dose. Once you know thats working for you, then continue with the 4.5mg. If you find it`s too much you can drop back and stay at 3mg. Good luck! Bev
