Pain question for Skip or others

regarding Skip's comment yesterday that one should be off LDN for at least a week before surgery so the pain meds would work after surgery, and then the comments by JuDea that after LDN for 5 years and having an accident morphine intensified the pain.

It seems that LDN blocks opioid receptors for much more than just a few hours!!

If narcotic drugs won't work any more, what would be some possible alternatives?
