Testament to the virtues of LDN

Hi all,

I haven't posted in a very long time (last Summer), but wanted to drop in and

let you all know how well LDN has worked for my ulcerative colitis. I started

LDN last Spring and it took a good 4 months to really kick in. It eliminated the

occasional bleeding I'd had and just made my quality of life better overall. In

the beginning months I had some challenges with higher blood pressure than

normal, and hair loss, both of which resolved themselves over many months. My BP

at my last 2 doc's visits was 110/60... pretty good, I'd say!

The real test that LDN worked for me, is I've had to go off of LDN the past week

or so due to an upcoming minor (but painful) surgery I've got scheduled next

week. I wanted time to get the LDN out of my system so I could take pain meds.

It took no longer than 3 days off LDN before my bleeding came back and hasn't

resolved since. I'm real hopeful it doesn't escalate into a full blown flare up

(and end me in the hospital) before I'm able to get back on LDN. I'm keeping my

fingers and toes crossed! I love LDN... although I'm not looking forward to

dealing with those early issues again... if they do occur.

Debbie
