Guest guest
I hear you on this. Loss of appetite, loss of weight, food allergies, and add on candida for me. After you take away all dairy, all yeast products (breads, etc), all wheat and grains, potato, the " white " grains, eggs, most fruits, all veggies that turn to sugar to fast, all sugar... geez louise! Not much left on the food tray. It's no wonder I'm down to a size four. The dentist I go to for the mercury removal from my teeth did metabolic typing on me and given my blood type (O+) and the results of the typing I was given a food list with the candida problem foods removed and replaced with the substitutes (like milk with rice milk) and now I have a list of foods that I can pull from. I also have a soy protein drink that I have twice a day that helps. So I have stabilized in weight. I have to make sure I eat though despite the loss of appetite. What I can't stand is people who haven't seen me in awhile and make some comment about the weight aspect or my parents (who have not come to terms with any part of lyme or mercury poisoning b/c they don't understand it...believing that I should be over the lyme now b/c my uncle's wife had lyme, took the tic out, had 3 weeks of antibioitcs and is fine- so why am I not?) and the only thing they focus on is my weight and nothing else which has always been an issue since I've had candida. I've either been bloated from the yeast over-riding and so have weighed a lot or have dropped down to where I am now. I'm fatso when I'm heavy and anorexic when I'm this size. Of course they say absolutely nothing about my sister who has always been a size 2. Go figure. I've never been on a fad diet. But my poor body has been out of check. I think the hardest part about the food issue right now is just making meals for myself. I'm tired and don't want to have to cook, but I have to do it. This sounds awful, but I really would like someone to take care of me for once. Ali OKay you are talking about " NORMAL " people not people with LYME... There is a difference with LYME.. and metabolism.. we can not loose weight, therefore our bodies must be out of balance to begin with.. all of these fad diets will not work any how if you have LYME .. so who cares if you loose weight .. I want to know what helps keep Lyme bodies in check, SO TO SPEAK! HOw to eliminate toxins mostly so you can function better... > > ANYONE ON THIS!!! > jump in....
