Guest guest
I want to take a moment and remind everyone that Lyme Aid has two supplemental lists. I actually remind the list every month but I know just a few of you never read my monthly reminders. =) Lyme Aid Documents is a compilation of information previously posted on Lyme Aid. Because Lyme Aid generates a lot of personal dialogue (as it should!) Lyme Aid Documents was created so that there would be a concise place where Lyme Aid members could go to search for information previously posted on Lyme Aid. This allows the search feature from to be the most effective for users. I am the only one that " posts " to Lyme Aid Documents, but the information doesn't come from me. The information comes from Lyme Aid members. I " simply " forward the messages (after a little cleaning up) from one group to the other. There are currently 167 members of Lyme Aid Documents and most of them are on " No Mail " status. This allows them the ability to search the archive whenever they want without getting repetitive email messages in their " in " boxes. The second favorite choice for people is the " Daily Digest " version. This places all the days messages into one email message with an index at the top. This index helps people who like to keep the information for future use. If you have ever searched the Lyme Aid archive for a specific piece of information you read last week but failed to keep, you will appreciate a membership in Lyme Aid Documents. To join please see: -Documents/ . The other list is called Lyme Aid Off Topic. This is an uncensored list whose primary focus will change depending on what the members want to talk about. Lyme Aid Off Topic is a great place to learn about issues other than Lyme disease. It is full of information concerning other diseases. Often times jokes are sent to the list. Is there a topic you want people to know more about that doesn't concern Lyme disease? Then Lyme Aid Off Topic would be a perfect place for you to voice your concerns, ideas, views . . . whatever! To join please see: -Offtopic/ . If you have any questions about either group, feel free to send them to me or ask on Lyme Aid. These lists are part of Lyme Aid and include members from the Lyme Aid family. =) Robynn -Owner
Guest guest
I have AOL and was not able to sign on. How do I do it? Thanks, Martha A.
Guest guest
Go to the list you want to join, either -Documents/ or -Offtopic/ . Click on the hyperlink that says " Join this Group! " . Follow ALL the directions on the next few pages. You will first be asked for your ID and password. (If you do not already have an ID you will be asked to create one.) It should be the same for AOL members as it is for everyone else. If you have any questions about your ID let me know - I can look that up for you. I cannot tell you what your password is though. =) Robynn Re: [ ] Supplemental Lists I have AOL and was not able to sign on. How do I do it? Thanks, Martha A.
