Thanks I have received an email from her. However, i would like to know from someone if the one I am using is OK. I keeping reading that only the one available from Europe is good. The one I use is manufactured by their own laboratories here in Canada by a very high quality reputable company that is used by many naturopaths and other alternative practitioners and pharmacies in Canada. It does not use Chinese or any other outside-country sources for ingredients or manufacturing.It is called R(+)-Lipoic Acid and is made by AOR in Alberta Canada. It is described by AOR as a natural form of Lipoic Acid. Conventional Lipoic Acid or alpha lipoic acid supplements are only 50% R(+)-Lipoic Acid. The other half is the artificial S(-) enantiomer. The R(+) form is more potent according to research and in some people the S(-) form interferes with the action of lipoic acid in the body.
