I have an interesting and rather amazing story about my use of LDN.

I have 3 AI diseases: MS, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and microscopic colitis. I

have had the colitis

since Jan 99. It is the one of my diseases where the symptoms are most

recognizable: diarrhea

several times every day for 11 years. Not one day different.

I didn't find out about LDN until March 08 after my MS dx. Started it. Don't

know if it was

working for the MS, but diarrhea didn't improve, so wasn't too optimistic that

it was working.

I take alot of supplements; always have. For reasons I won't go into, as it

would be too graphic,

one day about 2 mos. ago it occurred to me that perhaps I had a problem/was

allergic to the gelatin

capsules that many of my supplements come in. Let a picture paint a thousand

words.....

Anyway, I decided to switch all my supplements to either tablets or vegetarian

capsules. The

diarrhea didn't go away, but suddenly I was actually able to MAKE IT to the

toilet each time.

After several weeks like that, I had a brainstorm: my LDN was in gelatin

capsules. So I called

Irmat and they said they could encapsulate in vegetarian capsules. I'm on my

2nd month of using LDN

in vegetarian capsules and my diarrhea is definitely improving!!!!!!

It's like a miracle. I have tried everything in the past 11 years for this

colitis. Nothing, I

mean nothing, has worked; not medication, not supplements, not diet. I am

surmising that the LDN in

gelatin capsules wasn't working because my colon was viewing the capsule as

poison and shooting it

out of my body before it was being absorbed. Now, it's being absorbed!!!

Also, I notice that my mood has improved since the switch.

I wanted to give everyone a positive story and also, if there are folks out

there with alot of

food/other allergies, they might consider asking their pharmacist to use

vegetarian capsules.

Evidently it's a very easy thing for them to do.
