Hi, I just joined the LDN groups and was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2004. I had a recent colonoscopy where my doctor wanted to start me on anti-TNF treatment. Concerned about the increased risk of lymphoma I did some research online and read about LDN. I had tried eating SCD last year and a lot of people on that diet mentioned LDN, but I didn't know what it was or what it stood for. Now it's all coming full circle. Anyway, I brought my info into my doctor (including the 2007 Penn State study) and my doctor called the study intriguing. I just spoke to her yesterday and she said she will write me a prescription. I'm excited but trying not to get my hopes up. I have to wean myself off prednisone before I start but that should be in the next couple of weeks so I'm sure I will have questions for the groups. I hope to have

a success story like so many I have read. BTW, I live in South Dakota so I was extremely apprehensive of finding a doctor who would even be willing to give LDN a shot. If you live in the area and have had trouble with resistant doctors, let me know and I can share my doctor's name with you.
