NO STUDIES HAVE BEEN DONE,BUT I AM NOW ASSOCIATED WITH SOMEONE WHO IS TRYING IT. IT MAY WORK VERY FAST WHEN WHEN STARTING ONE HAS TO MONITOR THE GLUCOSE VERY CLOSELY THE FIRST WEEK UNTIL YOU FIND WHAT THE RESPONSE IS.
