Guest guest
Dear fellow travelers, For my money, I take quite seriously the stories of our fellow forum dwellers who post about negative MRI results re: new lesions after a significant term of LDN usage. At the very least, it offers hope that LDN does indeed slow or even stop progression of MS. While my mobility issues have not gone away, I am ever vigilant for a worsening of my condition. And while I have experienced dramatic improvement in brain fog, cognition, pain, spasms, and energy, walking has not improved. Still, trying to be as objective as possible, it is hard for me to swear I have gotten any worse, since early Sept. '09, when I began 4.5 LDN. I use a cane, and can still ambulate, drive and work. And I love in a 3 story house. In fact, some days are better than others, but generally, I experience a sense of wellness that is both noticeable and notable. So, like I have said many times, if my choices are wheelchair, or cane, gimme that cane! And my LDN. (I also use vitamins, diet, exercise, and meditation. No CRAB drugs for me ever.) Dave in Pa. [low dose naltrexone] ldn and dr.bruce cree trial have anybody read the results of the trial with ldn pubblished onhttp://www3.interscience.wiley.com/journal/123289912/abstract?CRETRY=1 & SRETRY=0.considering that 8 weeks are nothing to performe a trial for ms based on the property to slow or stop progression, many neurologists here in italy use that documents to inform their patients that ldn is not a tratment to be considered to slow or stop the progression, and it is only usefull in case of p.p.ms.to fight simptoms.i would like to know your point of view on this matter.my bestemiliano

Got a cookie setting error in each. emilnari wrote: have anybody read the results of the trial with ldn pubblished on http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/journal/123289912/abstract?CRETRY=1 & SRETRY=0. considering that 8 weeks are nothing to performe a trial for ms based on the property to slow or stop progression, many neurologists here in italy use that documents to inform their patients that ldn is not a tratment to be considered to slow or stop the progression, and it is only usefull in case of p.p.ms.to fight simptoms. i would like to know your point of view on this matter. my best emiliano
