Guest guest Posted March 25, 2010 Report Share Posted March 25, 2010 Hi,What is the plasmapheresis supposed to treat?Les has Stiff Person's Syndrome, and it has supposedly improved many people with SPS.Before he went into the hospital for the treatment - it was to be doneover a few days - he walked normally most of the time. He only useda walker occasionally.After the treatment - which they cut short, he was dramatically worse.Now, he cannot walk AT ALL without some sort of aid...a walker, walls,and he must use a wheelchair for outside.The treatment might do wonders for you.
