Guest guest
Could be something about the boost of endorphins increasing thyroid function. I haven't decreased my Armour which is at 3 grains and I'm on 2mg LDN for going on 4 months. From .5mg and working up to 2mg for almost 2 weeks. I also take Iosol Iodine and feel no hyper feelings. If I do, I will decrease accordingly. joyce [low dose naltrexone] Thyroid dose decrease Hi Everybody,I was just wondering how they came to the conclusion that if you had certain Thyroid problems you should decrease your LDN. Does anyone know how they came to this conclusion and also what happens if you don't decrease? Thanks, No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG - www.avg.com Version: 9.0.733 / Virus Database: 271.1.1/2665 - Release Date: 02/03/10 00:09:
Guest guest
We started noticing that our patients who were taking thyroid and LDN would develop a seemingly hyperthyroidism, after taking LDN for a while. All of the side effects were consistent with an overdose of thyroid. Rationally, if you are improving the immune system, there will be some folks with antibodies that reduce the efficacy of their innate thyroid. If the immune system is "normalized" these antibodies will not affect the thyroid and therefore you will not need the supplementation. Very real deal.
