Guest guest
Tylenol is ok to use with LDN. Cough syrup should be ok if it does not contain codeine. Naltrexone interacts with narcotics and codeine is narcotic. Something like plain Robitussin should be OK. Also some homeopatic formulas may be helpful and will not interact with meds. I really like Chestal.Always use it for my kids if they are coughing, seems to be working better than meds without side effects. Sleep aid is not OK if it is narcotic based. Melatonin should be fine. Also some homeopatic sleep aids work very well. I use Insomnia by Hylands. Also Calms Forte by Hylands. Works really well for me and does not make me drowsy in the morning. Be careful with some herbal sleep aid formulas. Kava-kava can cause liver damage in some people if used a lot. Valerian also not very liver friendly in high doses. BTW are you sure Ativan is Ok ? Did your doctor confirmed it? Ativan (lorazepam) is control substance. I would think it may interact with Naltrexone. I would recomend to doublecheck with MD before using them together. Sore throut losenges like Cepacol should be ok. I usually use gargle for sore throut. 1teaspoon of salt + 1 teaspoon of baking soda for cup of warm water. Gargle as often as you wish .Safe and effective. Warm tea with honey is also good . Best of luck..
