Just wanted to check in and update you. I first posted here on your board when I started using LDN for lesions on my cervical spinal cord in 2005. I had 2 lesions then and was told I could have CNS Lupus or MS. On LDN, I had no new symptoms or lesions for 4 solid years. Last May, I turned up with 2 new lesions and scary, but much lesser symptoms for a much shorter duration than in my first bout (1-2 months before everything cleared up as opposed to a year with the first set of symptoms!) I attribute this to the LDN. I came back to your board and read that I should be taking my LDN (I take 4.5 mg nightly) at 10 pm or after during daylight savings time. I made the adjustment and have had no new lesions or symptoms since then. I was referred to the MS clinic at the U of Washington once the second set of lesions was discovered. I was diagnosed with a mild case of MS and continue to be followed there. Prior to this I was followed at the UW Rheumatology clinic . I want to be sure and share with you that one of the head teaching docs there reviewed my bloodwork about 2 years after I started on LDN. It had RETURNED TO NORMAL. I no longer had any of the markers for CNS Lupus. To my delight, he acknowleged that, "Either you're an anomoly, or your LDN is working." He was familiar with LDN and planned to explore it further, based on my results! I want to thank you again for being here and for bringing this information to those of us who need it. LDN has worked VERY well for me. I do a lot of other things for my health, with diet, etc., but even during the times that I "fall off the wagon" with those lifestyle changes, my experience is showing me that LDN continues to protect me by slowing, even halting, the progression of my disease, whatever it is. May there be a miracle in YOUR life today and may you have the EYES to see it.From My Heart to YoursLove, Hugs & Blessings, CrystalLDN_Users Group OwnerDiagnosed November 2004 with Secondary Progressive MS, Transverse Myelitis and an Advocate for LDN!! 4 years on LDN with Skip's Pharmacy.....
