Guest guest
On my Lyme boards, I heard one " Lymie " comment how LDN could cause the disease to really present itself. Myself, while LDN was MUCH kinder to me that Rebif or Copaxone, I did have some emotional problems that presented themselves while on LDN. Sadly, NONE of the Lyme tests are accurate. A diagnosis should be done by a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD). FIRST, hire a LLMD, then use whatever test s/he prefers to use. I have Lyme tests from my family physician, IgeneX, and Fry Laboratories. None of the tests were a slam-dunk " yes " for Lyme. My Lyme diagnosis was a clinical diagnosis based on use of several MS drugs, a continued loss of strength regardless of the drug or diet combo I used. My diagnosis was confirmed by my herxheimer reaction to doxycycline. Once this disease / infection entrenches itself into our bodies, it's very difficult to treat. > > Hi, > > I started 3mg LDN in Jan 08 and for the first 4-6 weeks felt great - my balance improved slightly, legs were a bit stronger, was over the moon. > > But from then i started to get worse, quite quickly (much quicker than i normally progress) - since the one relapse before daignoses 8 yrs ago i dont relapse just progress....
