I had a rash after being given rocephin. I was given the first dose of

rocephin in my doctor's office with no rashes previous to my home dosing when

the rash occurred. I used benadryl to prevent any allergic reaction and an

epi-pen just in case. The rocephin, unfortunately, did not get rid of the

borrelia or erlichiosis for me although I did feel that I had a period of

remission for a few weeks.
