Guest guest
Dr. McCandless is a psychiatrist not an oncologist. And any treatment that MDs use comes first from researchers such as Dr. Zagon. As for Dr Zagon I feel that as a member of the LDN community it is part of all of our responsibility to impart the correct information, and this is why I am concerned about dispelling some of these myths that abound via Dr Zagon's scientific explanations. He also does work with people, I have mails from him telling me of such and of his success! It frightens me as a cancer patient to think how many people could be harmed by mis-information, I recently had to explain to someone how LDN can indeed be used at the same time as most chemo's. It horrifies me to think how many have not benefitted by using both together and who have died using LDN alone when aggressive cancer needs aggressive treatment. Let us all listen to what each Dr has to say, let us share this information with proof of same, and then we can be sure, we are nearer the mark with any information we give out....... Only treatments have repeat customers. 'Life may not be the party we hoped for.. but while we are here we might as well dance I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it! Guest guest
Dr. McCandless is a neurologist, too. Jacquelyn McCandless received her M.D. from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Since the early 1990s, her interest in women's issues and sexuality has led to an alternative medicine practice with a focus on anti-aging, brain nutrition, and natural hormone therapy. In 1996, after her granddaughter was diagnosed with autism, she returned even more to basic medicine and began working with biomedical aspects of developmentally delayed children. She now utilizes the knowledge she gained searching for treatments for her grandchild to help other ASD children > > Dr. McCandless is a psychiatrist not an oncologist.
