Hi all,

I have some good news. I just got my labs back and my anti-TPO antibodies have

gone from 120 (in Sept 09) to 48. I'm hoping they go even lower given more time!

I started LDN in early December, so it was about 2.5 months between starting and

when I had the last labs drawn. I started at 1mg but quickly went up to 3.5mg

where I have remained. I have also started to reduce my dose of thyroid hormone

although I haven't settled on the right dose yet.

I am pregnant and I really struggled with the decision to remain on LDN when I

found out, but so far my pregnancy is going really well and everything is

normal. Thanks to all who encouraged me to keep taking it.

I have also noticed that I am not catching little viral bugs all the time like I

used to, and when I do, I can feel my body fighting it and it goes away within a

day.

My husband has also started to take it (also 3.5 mg) mostly as a prophylactic

for cancer since he smokes and doesn't always eat very well. Since he started he

says he feels great, has increased focus at work, and his cigarette cravings are

reduced.

I just wanted to let you all know and say that this list has been invaluable to

me; thank you so much for all the wisdom and support.

Tierney
