Guest guest
Judy, I hav ehad frozen shoulders and one arm virtually stuck for the past 18months and have been gettin accustomed to LDN for exactly a year. It occurs to me that the pain may be your arm slowly comin gback to life. MIne is and with it plenty of pain. MY forearms and shoulders have also had a lot of pain presenting and I lost a lot of muscle mass . Dr Phil BOyle recommended I used L-Glutamine 2 g a day in order to buidl strength. I dont knwo if any of this is familiar or helpful. My condition is RA and so joints and fascia and tendons ae all hevailt implicated. I started taking LDN in December.I am taking it to see if it helps with my balance because I have MSA and my Neurologist has asked me to be in this study that he is running to see if the LDN can help with falling.I have severe pain in my left arm It started in my elbow and now it is in the upper part of my arm and down the inside of my lower arm.I had xrays taken and nothing showed up on them.My arm has been rigid for about 2 years now but I never had this pain before. I was just wondering if the pain could be a side effect from taking the LDN.thank you.Judy Newman Diagnosd in 2005Striatonigral Degeneration orMultiple Systems Atrophy
Guest guest
what is your daily dose of LDN? what dose did you start out at? sorry, i'm not knowledgeable re your condition. those seem like relevant questions. sometimes it seems with the nervous system generally things can get worse before they get better... so maybe it's connected with the LDN, maybe not... is there any change in the rigidity also? if less rigid along with the new pain that might be good/progress??? what does the neuro think? i have read a couple reports of some pains getting worse with LDN, but mostly i read of things improving. hope you're one of the ones on the way to recovery. > [low dose naltrexone] does anyone have severe pain in > any of their joints due to taking LDN > > Hi, I am new to this group. Guest guest
my "frozen shoulder" turned out to be Lyme. You should get a test from Igenex.if lyme, LDN might help a little but will not cure it.
