Guest guest
I have searched the archives under " kidney disease " and " kidney damage " reading hundreds of posts. There were a couple of testimonials from and Betty about their kidney diseases improving, but about the same number of messages regarding the use of LDN when a person has kidney disease and how it is not recommended. My GFR was 90 last year this time, but dropped to 57, then 54 then 52 and now is at 47. I was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease (which is moderate) and I am trying to see if LDN would be safe for me to use with this diagnosis, or if I am supposed to forgo it because the articles say naltrexone is not recommended for people with kidney disease. I am having a hard time understanding why people have improved their kidney function while using it if it is supposed to be bad for the kidneys. Any help, guidance, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
