Hello all -

Just wanted to share with you my experience so far with LDN. I've had CFS

for about 16 years (I'm almost 35). I also have fibromyalgia,

depression/anxiety. I've been up to the 3.0mg dose for about a week now.

Took 1.5mg for about 3-4 weeks to start. I had to wean off hydrocodone

(Norco) before starting. I was taking 1-2 pills/day (10/325mg). I felt

really lousy coming off but I did it. I honestly cannot say at this point

my fatigue is any better. My fibro doesn't seem to be *as* bad, and I can

do ok without the pain meds for that, however, psychologically I really feel

like I want to take them again. I guess the pain that I do have I don't

want to deal with. I know I can't while on LDN though of course. But I

feel more depressed than I was (have also had a ton of stress lately, moved

in w/mom & broke up w/bf). The pain meds gave me a small mental/physical

" boost " that I don't have anymore. I am also feeling increasingly

anti-social. I have always been introverted but find it harder now to talk

to strangers. The pain meds gave me a little buffer for that. I guess what

I'm saying so far is I don't see any difference from the LDN yet...and

wondering if I will. I soooo wanted this to be the answer and was hoping I

would be one of the ones to notice immediate improvement. I've read a lot

about watching diet/yeast/etc, and I'm doing the best I can but it's hard to

eat perfect. I'm just feeling down and discouraged. Any words of advice

are appreciated!
