Guest guest
GLORIAGAYATCHISON ASKED IF ANYONE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH LDN AND SJOGRENS! ME! I have Sjogrens, and am now taking LDN. I started LDN November 13, 2009. Almost immediately, the dry mouth was no longer an issue day or night. My vaginal dryness is gone, and I now have to wear panty liners due to the NORMAL vaginal secretions I now have. I'm feeling normal. I never need a pain pill unless I have had a very stressful day, and the pain is still a 1or 2 on a scale of 1-10. It's never very bad. My doctor found I still have warmth in my joints, which is destructive, so she put me back on Enbrel. About a month prior to starting LDN I stopped Plaquenil, Celebrex, Methotrexate, flexeril, Enbrel, and another I can't remember all of a sudden. Anyway, I have since re-started the Enbrel, and also the flexeril. I could probably still do without the flexerill, but without it I still have the muscle spasms around my heart and they scare me. And flexeril helps me sleep. I did notice a big relief in stiffness when I re-started the Enbrel. But, I had stopped all those meds before starting LDN ONLY to see what LDN does on it's own for me. I am still taking my blood pressure meds, anti-depressants, and hormone therapy (due to hysterectomy). Anyway, I can see that stiffness was not going to go 100% away with the LDN. I will be getting surgery soon, and will have to stop the LDN about 7 days prior to the surgery, so I will have to get on here and let you know how that works out. I'm positive I will have a lot of intense pain without LDN. I did forget the LDN twice and was in pain almost immediately, and the pain is what reminded me to take it. I can honestly say, LDN is not a stand-alone med for me, but it's helped immensely in many ways. Oh! I forgot to tell you, LDN has also helped my memory and concentration issues. And also my bladder spasms and dribbling. I no longer have to get up in the night to urinate every half hour, and I no longer dribble urine all day and night. All that stopped by the second day on LDN. !!! If you are able to get LDN, I personally think you'd be silly not to take i= t. Good luck! Take Care!
