I don't know the answer, but about 2 years ago I received high dose ALA by

intravenous infusions at my homeopath's office, once a week, for about 7 weeks

(each infusion took up to two hours). My homeopath never even questioned me

about amalgams - my mouth is full of them. (I plan to get them out when I have

the money.)

Anyway, as far as I could tell, the ALA infusions had absolutely no effect on my

health - either for good or for bad. (I was taking it for CFS.) They were

expensive, and I was disappointed in the whole experience.

LDN (without ALA) has helped me more.
