Hi Emiliano, You can tell your friend that LDN can be taken with chemo, If you read some of Zagon's latest papers on LDN you will see that the chemo Paclitaxel is reported to be active in sqamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, and that recent results show that a combination of say carboplatin and OGF has potent inhibitory properties. It is presumed by recent work that OGF could be used with more than one family of chemotherapeutc agents i.e taxanes and platinums, the latter often being used for lung cancer. Of course further studies are needed but the present results are the first to show that the combination of carboplatin and OGF has potent inhibitory properties in some cancers in enhancing antitumour activity. The end result may well be that OGF is a cytostatic drug whereas paclitaxel and carboplatin induce programmed cell death by channeling cells into the apoptotic pathway....

Please see also the work of Berkson who used chemo and LDN with great success with pancreatic cancers. Lung cancer is one of the deadly beasts, I would say you need all in your arsenal to attack it.......I would not hesitate to use both together....
