Bonnie,

I found out several years ago, but the doctor just siad I had it, and that was

it. Said to live with it. Never got any more help from him.

 How would i find out?

Re: Exhaustion

Oh, Firbromyalgia, that explains it. When did you first become aware that you

had this condition? I'm asking this because this can be caused by a Virus and

you need to (if you have one of several) find out which one it is. Maybe I can

help.

Re: Exhaustion

Bonnie,

Nothing has changed at all. I get maybe three hours of sleep a night, and I

am exhausted. Had medical tests, they say Fibromyalgia, but when I started

the VCO the exhaustion went away for weeks. Now it's back.

I just don't know.

I was on a boatload of narcotics for pain. a BOATLOAD. In may I told the dr's I

could no longer watch life go by through a window, they said they felt the first

thing they would try if they were me was stopping all the narcotics, so I did,

all of them, all at once(well I weened myself for a week then took phenobarbital

for 4 weeks to control withdrawl). It was such a drastic change they wanted to

hospitalize me but I got through it on my own. I was able to stop the meds

because they werent working, I am still in as much pain as I was before. Im

eating non-narcotic pain killers like m & ms and they arent cutting it. I still

feel exhausted. For several years I have told them I have chronic fatigue

syndrome, I have now seen them write this down as a dx. I have now been on

ritalin for 6 months. I am still not moving. I am still watching life go by

through a window.

ringing in the ears. I find myself laying in bed and sitting on the couch. I

have deduced that mentally I do this because I know if I am active I will end up

in pain after being active so I remain immobile.

I had something happen a few months ago, anyone ever experience this? One day

the tip of my right index finger went numb. just the tip. it stayed that way for

a month or two. then it went away. just before it went away my left thumb

started tingling like it was going to go completely numb, it never went all the

way numb but it tingled like the right index finger did when it was on its way

out, that lasted for a month or so. then that went away. this so far has only

happened once and right now im on the headache and ringing in the ears kick not

to mention the severe pain that comes from my mid back and reaches up and wraps

around my brain and squeezes. anyone else??

Hello,

I just started on LDN Feb 22 for a slight neuro disorder with my hands. I also have reverse T3 and probably adrenal exhaustion. I feel worse, even more tired than before, today being the worst. Is there an adjustment period? My doctor also up'd my thyroid med to 75 mg (I take a nat'l thyroid from a compounding pharmacy). I also follow a gluten-free diet (although I just noticed a hair product I use contains "wheat gluten"). I'm very frustrated.

Thx.

I have a number of improvements in several months (still on 1.5mg) so I

am quite happy. But I was unable to raise to 2.0 and decided I would

believe what I read that this probably indicated candida, which I started

treating about 6 weeks ago. I think it's quite possible the LDN brought

candida more to the surface and I don't really mind that as it convinced

me to work on this problem. Within a week, I sure got a bunch more

energy! I think it's well worth doing; we don't want candida

anyhow.

It could be that you have candida and need to clear it. Others will

have to explain more why this might be, but LDN seems to bring it out if

candida is already a problem or a lurking one.
