Guest guest
<<<<<<<<<have heard several times that being rebitten can send people into a tailspin real quick. Interesting phenomenon. >>>>> Talk about a real quick tailspin Steve.........I went into advanced stages within 9-10 days........before we even got the tick results back saying the tick was positive for lyme (of course I was put on abx the day after the tick was removed). I started to get better and thought we had it beat.........and then just recently started with severe symptoms again...looks like I will be changing abx again. My LLMD, really feels, its is the old strain of lyme bacteria we are dealing with not really the new, it has reactivated the old.........must have been one little encapsulated bugger that my immune system had kept suppressed, for two years, and when its friends came into my bloodstream, it got the strength it needed to come out of hiding.........At first the abx zapped it pretty good.......I really thought I was going back into remission. This weekend has been tough, all the horrible symptoms, headache, fever, achy, numbness, tingling, sleep disturbance, and my ultimate barometer......TEETH PAIN!!!!!! Time to switch abx............for sure...........this bugger has adapted to the Ceftin........... Conniek nwnj Leave no stone unturned! It must happen in your mind before it happens in your life ! Guest guest
So sorry to hear that Connie-that is just not fair! I hope you get an abx that helps fast! Guest guest
Wow. I met another woman who was rebitten and ended up in the ER right away. I wonder if part of it might have to do with an immune response to the lyme protiens being reintroduced. Some people seem to think that part of the symptamology of lyme is due to immune response, just like when you have the flu- it's the immune response that makes you feel sick. If so, apparently it was still inadequate in your case. Seems like you have a real good chance of getting a handle on it. This is an annoying phenomenon because I know I will be rebitten many times in my life. I refuse to live in a bubble and I won't stay out of the woods for anything except being too sick to get out. Gosh Connie: I have teeth pain too. I used MSM today and so far the tooth pain is at bay...no dentist ever found anything wrong with any of my teeth so I suspect lyme.
