Guest guest
Is LDN known to feed yeast.......??? (I know about the anti-candida diet, etc., but I just want to know if LDN is a yeast-feeding substance in itself)..... Guest guest
No, LDN is not a carbohyrdate and hence does not feed yeast. However, LDN can provoke underlying infections like yeast to reactivate. Those need to be dealt with for LDN to work the best. Dr McCandless has a lot of useful approaches to dealing with the underlying infections in the FILES section of her Autism_LDN group. mjh Posted by: "margretdzn@..." margretdzn@... margretdzn Wed Jan 6, 2010 5:30 am (PST) Is LDN known to feed yeast.......???(I know about the anti-candida diet, etc., but I just want to know if LDN is a yeast-feeding substance in itself).....Blessings, Margaret"We are not held back by the love we didn't receive in the past, but by the love we're not extending in the present." nne on
Guest guest
Mycoplex, is a form of mushrooms, you might give some thought to taking, "gold, alka seltzer" every other day, and mycoplex on the off days. Check w/ your dock......................... The "Gold" contains about one gram of heated baking soda, enough I would think to sweeten, or raise the ph a bit to encourage your digestive tract enviornment to make it very uncomfortable for yeast to exist. Just a suggestion, stay well, david a [low dose naltrexone] since on ldn I cannot get rid of the yeast I have colitis and have been on ldn for about 6 months. I have had to take some stuff called mycoplex from the naturopath and it has worked really well to get rid of the yeast. (I couldnt eat anything without pain and diarrhea before taking the mycoplex). But now the problem is that I cant stop the mycoplex while on ldn or I go right back to diarrhea. Has anyone else had this problem. Is it really not possible to be on ldn without always taking stuff for yeast. This is a problem for me as I am trying to get pregnant and most things for yeast cannot be taken if pregnant. The stuff I am on should have resolved all yeast issues by now - at least for people who are not on ldn. Thanks
