Dear fellow travelers,

I read with interest Rose's post about the bill introduced by McCain regarding supplements. I work as a staffer in state government, and a sure way to kill this bill is to find out which committee it has been sent to, and lobby the hell out of it to have it die right there, and not bring it up for a vote. I have not refreshed myself on the federal standing committees, but my guess is health and human services or something equivalent.

The more I read of McCain, that georgia peach professor of basket weaving, is he must be trying to get his name noticed. But his notice is all wrong, I wood not vote for the headline grabber. I feel sure ninety percent of the public will not go along with his supplement control crap. But we must not rest on our laurals, the silent majority has been controlled far too long by a few radicals w/ squeaky wheels.
