I have used both the oral and intravenous calcium ethyl amino phosphate (EAP).

My physician who helped me with the EAP felt the oral presentations didn't have

the same impact as the intravenous presentation.

After my one year on the intravenous plus multiple versions of the oral capsules

I felt my strength was still declining and hired a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor

(LLMD) and was diagnosed with and started treatment for Lyme Disease.

Much of my time is sleeping on my couch. Feel free to send me a note directly

to wake me up :-)

I’m sorry bit can anyone describe to me in layman’s

terms<gr> what this is all about. I’m not at all familiar with it and

being an ex-educator find that not only myself, other “newbies” to

this supplement will benefit by starting with ABC’s <gr>

I took LDN on my way to calcium ethyl amino phosphate. My Rebif and Copaxone had

REALLY kicked my hiney!! Switching to LDN was such a nice change and was also

my seperation from the medical-industrial-complex MS cult.

I abbreviate it as EAP. It's a German drug. The intravenous formulations are

allowed into the US under compassionate use laws. I moved onto the EAP as I

felt my health had not stabilized with my LDN.The LDN is a much easier drug to

take.

The EAP really does significantly help some MS patients. For me, it was a

little difficult knowing when to stop. No one really seems to know just how

quickly the EAP should get to work or what the wind down schedule should be.

There is not really much good data on the drug. There is a questionnaire that

reports many patients doing well with the EAP. There is a library in WI where

all of the material from the original promoter, Dr. Hans Nieper, can be

purchased. I think the name was the Brewer library or something about like

that. I scanned several pages out of the books and placed them on my MySpace

profile photo albums.

Personal opinion, I don't feel that just doing the oral capsules will have much

impact. I was taking about 15-20 capsules of various formulations of the EAP

along with the intravenous presentation. It's three times per week IV

injections. It takes a VERY serious commitment to do this drug.
