Guest guest
LDN can come in all of those forms. I take 4.5mgs capsules. LDN _MUST_ be taken only _ONCE_ in a 24 hour time peroid. It is recommended to take LDN between the hours of 9pm and 3am, but there are some who say it is okay to take it any time of the day or night. I take mine at 10pm every night. LDN can be taken with any medication as long as it does not contain a narcotic. It is best if you read the website to become familar with LDN. http://www.low dose naltrexone.org/ but you are allowed to ask as many questions about LDN here as you want. Art My MS/LDN story/1988 - 2010 http://ldn.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=personal & action=display & thread=867 > > Hi, > > I am confused. Does LDN come in the form of a liquid, capsules, tablets, pills or cream? How many times a day does one take it? If it's cream, how would it work for CFS/FMS? Is it better to take in the AM or PM? I have a hard time already sleeping at night. I am at my worst ever right now. Is it OK to take LDN if I am taking Cymbalta 60mg per day, Addrerall XR 30 mg per day and M S Cotin 60 mg every 8 hours? > > Thank you so much to anyone that responds. > > Rae >

To avoid side effects, I had read that staring LDN at 1.5 the 1st month, then 3 the next , & finally 4.5 ongoing. Has anyone tried this ? Did LDN partially work at the lower dose the 1st month? Can one do less than 4.5, say 3 continuously? Does the dose matter depending on your condition. I would assume more side effects with MS, but maybe not with RA? And therefore maybe can start right away at 4.5 But maybe 3 is the vest to start then go to 4.5 This is all new to me<gr>so hopefully I am not rambling 1 other question- I have been on 2Aleve twice/day until my DMARD kicks in. Should I stop that maybe a week before I start with LDN? Pat

Guest guest
I suggest that with RA you work up to 4.5 & stay there but not with immune suppressing drugs, that will stop LDN from working. Aleve is fine. I have had RA for 25 years & for the first time ever I’m getting relief from LDN, it is helping my immune system work like it should. I’ve always tried to avoid the drugs the rheumatologist push, doesn’t make since to suppress your immune system. Ask Dr. Skip at skips pharmacy he has RA & only takes LDN. Hope I’ve helped some RA is awful I Know. Terri
