Many people with autoimmune do not get the basic cold flus much. Because the immune system is in overdrive, and slowly killing the body, because of over activity. When you take LDN, your immune sustem adjusts to a more normal balanced level, and you might get the flu or cold easier. Just means your immune system is more normal.Happens allot. I never got sick much, this year first time in 5 years got the flu. Been on LDN for 2 years. But all joints and other symptoms great. There is always a down side to everything. If you stay in your bed room 24/7 you probABLY WILL NEVER GET A COLD OR FLU.....IF YOU DO NOT DRIVE YOU WILL NOT GET IN AN ACCIDENT....IT IS ABOUT LIVING LIFE, TO THE FULLEST. Sorry darn computer key. My guess is you got the flu.

Hello,

I have had a lifelong history of bad reactions to all drugs. My doc convinced me to try LDN for some Parkinson-like symptoms, so I started with 1 mg at bedtime for 2 weeks, hoping I wouldn't react to it. That seemed to be OK so I stepped up to 2 mg for 3 weeks. On the 8th I woke up feeling awful but got better during the day. The night of the 9th, after being in bed most of the day with headache and feeling bla, I took 3 mg. The 10th I had a fever and was worse and worse, did not take anything but water and vitamin C (10 gm) all day since the 9th, no LDN since then either. Last night (the 11th) I took no LDN, but a couple of supplements and lost them an hour later. Today the fever is down to almost normal and I feel better but the very thought of LDN is nauseating and the body is still saying no to food.

I can't tell if LDN and getting sick are related or not. I haven't been this sick in over 6 years. With "stuff that's going around" I've gotten it if at all, for maybe an hour or two.

I would be interested in comments from those with more experience, especially if you are super sensitive to drugs. I was starting to notice symptom abatement on 2 mg and feel dismayed I may be reacting and can't take LDN.

Thanks

I also have intense reactions from LDN. Well, may be your and mine are just herxig reactions from the infectons (mycoplasma hominus is suspected to cause Parkinson) becaseu LDN is supposed to restore the body's own healing system. Look up mycoplasma on Dr. Garth nicolson's website http://www.immed.org/ if want to know more.

Any thoughts?

Ron, what you write must be right. I started using a nebulizer, and I put wally world hydrogen perioxide in it and use it about two to three minutes every day or other day. It does a wonderful job of keepin allergy's and I suppose colds and flu's away as well, as this is the first winter I have not had a sniffle, knock on wood. The LDN got rid of my COPD, but I still had some shortage of breath, afore I began using the nebulizer. So I think both helped in their own way.

Ron, I really like your attitude, I attempt to enjoy life to the fullest, but then some folks just like to sit and watch as spectators, everyone to their own thing.

stay well, david a

Hi ,

How do you use the 3% hydrogen peroxide in a nebulizer? Do you dilute it with sterile water, or straight?

I have a friend with COPD, who is a wonderful person but unless a miracle happens, he won’t be here much longer.

Congratulations on your good health!!

Thank you,

Jean
