Guest guest
I have never been a marijuana user, but after reading about its effects against pain, I asked my PA about it. Though medical marijuana is available in my state of WA, he does not prescribe it, and it is very costly. Then there is the problem of finding a reliable dealer, a safe supply, with no mold or other contaminants, the question of smoking, ingesting or vaporizing, all too much trouble. So he prescribed Dronabinol, the generic for Marinol, which is synthetic THC. I have taken it for a few months, for the arthritic pain not well managed by LDN, and am relatively pain-free for the first time in years. For me, it seems to be the best available adjunct to LDN for pain. I can't take NSAIDS because they cause gastritis for me. I have taken LDN for fibromyalgia, asthma, dermatitis, & psoriasis for about two years, with great success, and will not give it up for anything! I take 5 mg. Dronabinol about an hour after LDN, then go to bed. With insurance it costs about $20.00 a month. Konnie

Guest guest
Yes, it does, for me, with no real side effects, just some welcome relaxation and drowsiness.
