Guest guest
Nope. Have a Female Hormone Panel run by a ObGyn (or other doctor) who specifically offers ONLY the BHRT (Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy) and NOT the synthetic pharmaceutical kind. You have probably hit the time where certain hormones begin rapidly depleting and others simply get way out of ratio. This problem is undoubtedly a hormonal one and NOT associated with LDN. Guest guest
Hair loss has been one of my symptoms. LDN did not have any effect on my hair loss. The loss was rather unexpected and discovered by having to clean out my drain traps. I suspect my hair loss may be related to my Lyme disease. www.CanLyme.com

Guest guest
Margaret, on another board Iodine supplimenting is talked about a lot. A doc years ago had me taking Iodine Potassium drop a day. Then after listening to others and Dr. in his Alternatives Health Newsletter recommends Iosol, I decided on Iosol. 1 drop is 1830mcg of Ammonium Iodide. I get mine from Vitacost. I trust Dr. a lot as he talked about Vit D deficiency for the past 20 yrs and no one was listening, including yours truly. Then when I finally got tested in 2006, I was quite deficient. Isocort is an adrenal product. joyce [low dose naltrexone] Re:question about hair loss Can someone please tell me the difference between Iosol, Lugols, Isocort.....??? Guest guest
Re: Hair Loss...I've been taking Grapeseed Extract for 14 yrs and experience no hair loss. I'm 71. It just occurred to me this evening, could it be the Grapeseed Extract.. I take thyroid and Iodine but have been on GE so long. Then I googled: Grapeseed Extract and Hair Loss and found a bunch of sites on this subject. The procyanidin oligomers are naturally occurring ingredients in Grape Seeds. These are also used in Rogaine....Pretty amazing info. GE continues to amaze me. joyce PS: Not Grapefruit Seed Extract which is anti viral. Grapeseed Extract is an antioxidant, powerful one, at that and works on our circulation (cleans the blood). Guest guest
Most iodine is just potassium iodide while lugols is both types of iodine that the body needs. Isocort is for adrenals. Not sure what kind of iodine iosol is. My naturopathic doctor put me on iodoral which is the same as lugols. I switched to the liquid lugols as it is a lot cheaper. Kelp is just potassium iodide so lugols is better.
