Allergies?

After studying the effects of LDN on the immune system and finding that

autoimmune diseases are most likely the result of a faulty immune system vs.

supercharged as I had been taught – I of course have to ask the question: Could

people and pets (I am a vet) suffering from hay fever also be helped?

If someone suffering from allergies has pleasantly found relief when using LDN

please share your experience, Thanks!

[ ] allergies?

So I have developed allergies this last year from the lyme, like everyone

else, and am wondering if as I get better, do the allergies get better? It is

insane, I am allergic to EVERYTHING!!!

, I have been that route, had to actually stop the allergy shots because I

am on a beta blocker heart medication for my sinus tachycardia caused by the

lyme and a person cannot get allergy shots while on that kind of

medicine....just so frustrating, this disease SUCKS!!!

I got acute lymes symptoms and was diagnosed via blood test this spring

officially with lymes. I talked to a llmd who knew me years ago and he

'wondered' out loud if maybe I have had lymes for years and didn't know it.

Back then I had tested out at 100 foods to which I was allergic too, along

with 'air hunger', apparently 'heart difficulties, exhaustion, feet pain,

digestive problems, etc.

Many years ago I took some 'sodium bentonite' clay powder - a shake or two -

on my hand and licked it off. Within seconds to minutes my heart would go

from up to 120 bpm, fast/slow/irregular to a steady beat around 80 within

seconds to minutes.

The 'air hunger took a little longer to get relief but that still happens

when I use either Grapefruit Seed Extract or a product called TKO (orange

oxygen cleaner - which I spray a dilute mixture into the air and breathe it

and my lungs seem to start exchanging oxygen into the blood almost

immediately).

When I got into the acute lymes I tried Doxy first. The first pill I threw

up. After a 24 hr. fast I decided to try again only a smaller dosage - all I

could handle at the time. While on the Doxy I searched, as much as I could

to see what other options I had. I decided to try the Vit. C/salt protocol.

I had already been taking quite a bit of Vit C. so basically slowly dropped

the amount of C as I ramped up on the 'real salt' (the kind I chose to use)

until they were 'about equal'.

I began to drop the C/salt quantity in October or so. During a trip to our

son's wedding that month I ran out of salt so didn't take it for a while. I

began to feel I was 'regressing' so have picked up the salt to 2-3 grams a

day recently along with C, E, D-3, Magnesium and a few other nurtitional

suppliments.

If I eat the same food for two or three days in a row I may start noticing a

'reaction' but basically I do feel that my allergies are a lot less

noticable than they used to be.

The air borne items that bother me I think are less also. Some perfumes

still get to me but I do think I am much better on the whole.

Take the above for what it might be worth to you.

The air hunger/feet pain combo strongly suggests babesia. Have you been tested

for that as well?

It is very possible. To my knowledge they didn't test for babesia. I rarely

have those symptoms lately though, so I haven't pursued that particular

avenue. And, since I still get relief with either the TKO/Grapefruit Seed

Extract and/or sodium bentonite clay when needed I guess it has sort of been

put on the 'back burner' at present.

As mentioned I am still using low dosages of C/Salt.

Thanks for your comments though.

Yes, most likely your allergies will go away. Most of the time with lyme - it

is not true allergies you are having, rather sensitivities. Your body does this

becasue it is like an autoimmune reaction. Your body is going into over-drive

trying to fight the lyme, so it causes your immune system to over react and it

starts attacking everything - even the things that are good for it. My daughter

was sensitive to wheat, dairy, soy and rice when she was at her sickest. We

kept her COMPLETELY off of this for about 6 months - and she got better and she

was able to add these things back into her diet. If you do not stay away from

things you are sensitive to then your body has too much to fight and it will get

in the way of healing. Plus, if you don't stay away from things you are

sensitive too then you are more likely to develop a true allergy to it. Best

Wishes, shauna

Shauna, thank you, that explains a lot, I kind of had a feeling that is what was

happening, because all of a sudden out of the blue last year when I became sick,

I had so many allergy symptoms and I have never had allergies in my life. I am

trying to stay away from everything that causes it right now, mostly sugar.

thank you!
