There are many non-narcotic drugs that can be given. Just be sure to let the doctor (and Nurse) know that you are on Naltrexone. It might be a good idea to have a paper in your billfold that says you are on it too. Some people even wear a necklace or bracelet.

The Naltrexone usually wears off in a day or two enough that you can take a narcotic pain killer, but don't count on it. If you are going to have surgery, it is a good idea to stop taking LDN a few days before you do so.

What happens if you take narcotics and LDN? Lets say you were in a accident and was taken to the hospital and needed pain medication?
