Guest guest
Me too. My body is very senstive to LDN. I use it to treat fibro (casued by mycoplasma infections) and lyme infection. Started at 4.5mg, try differnet combinationa and dosing, gradaully reducing to .5mg, still caused unbearable fatiuge, pain, etc. Decided to take a break from it 3 days ago, and my fatigue and pain have improved since. The jury is still out there for those who have infections on LDN. jen From: JOYCE MARTINO <jam2006@...>Subject: [Very_Low_Dose_Naltrexone] LDN and our Immune Systems"LDN List" <low dose naltrexone >, "Very_Low_Dose_Naltrexone" <Very_Low_Dose_Naltrexone >Date: Saturday, January 16, 2010, 2:07 PM Just thinking about this one. I've been working on my immune system for 14 yrs by taking either Pycnogenol or Grapeseed Extract, so in my mind, my immune system is pretty strong before starting on LDN. I've been taking these powerful antioxidants and supplements for 20some yrs total. I'm thinking about the dosing of 3mg or 4.5mg fits all. So far after 3 months, my body can't handle more than 1mg and every 2-3 days. I'm quite healthy overall except for the FM and OA issues for which I'm trying the LDN. My body seems to be very sensitive to higher doses. Could my "healthy" immune system have an affect on taking LDN? Just thinking about this one. I plan to post my 3rd month progress report very soon. thanks anyone?
