Oh I understand work is still being conducted at Stanford on FM issues.

[low dose naltrexone] LDN for Fibromyalgia/ Any New Studies?

Does anyone know if there are any more studies on low dose naltrexone for fibro. pain and fatigue? Only one small study was done in 2008?If you are taking this drug for fibro. please let me know what your results are and what you have to do to get the low dose. I have seen some posts stating that they have to make/compound the lower dose themselves?I'm wondering what the long term effects of temporarily shutting down your endorphins are which is what I think this med. does?

it has been my expereince that fibro folks (may be even lyme folks) need very low dose (.5mg, etc.) to avoid violent herxing reactions.
