Guest guest
Rats, I forgot IBS, severe dry eye, depression, anxiety, heat intolerance, clumsiness, migraine with just the annoying aura. I think that's it, lol. ~ > Well in just two or three months I started to get ill and it just went downhill from there. Fibro/cfs/adrenal, skin problems, hypothroid, all over pain, brain fog, blah, blah, blah. >
Guest guest
I have a similar list of health issues: fibro, Hashi's, skin sensitivities, pain, brain fog, with the exception that cfs hasn't been part of it, and I only had the adrenal issue recently. I also have asthma, sinus problems, repetitive stress injuries that are mostly managed, and old whiplash and back injuries, along with longstanding depression. When I lived in California I qualified for a medical marijuana (MM) card and I was able to legally grow the medicine, so I was able to have it when I wanted it. I was told by my doctor that my health profile was ideal because I have a number of issues that are known to respond to MM (fibro, asthma, depression). During that period of time, my health stabilized and I was fine with NatureThroid and 5-HTP. I was in a high-energy rock band, I skated on a regular basis, I got my paid work done and had time for such activities, including gardening. Then my partner and I moved to New Orleans 2 years ago to be nearer my mother, who is ill, and the rest of her family, plus wanted to have better access to art and music culture. I had always thought I would never leave California but I did, and the lack of safety around medical marijuana here in Louisiana has meant we had no access. Within a few months my adrenals crashed, the functional-med MD told me it was the worst test results she'd ever seen. My fibro started kicking my *ss bigtime again, going back to constant pain and inability to concentrate on my work, with no ability to do other activities. These problems, exacerbated by financial worries, are what have led me to try to find new solutions and led me to the LDN protocol and I'm also starting iodine therapy. The immediate lift it has given me is a lifesaver, and I do mean that literally. There is no question in my mind that I was stabilized with access to MM. if you're in Colorado, or anyone else interested in one of the states with a MM program, go into a patient provider outlet and ask them about reasonably priced prescribing MDs. Part of the service they provide is access/info to MDs. best wishes, -- At 04:39 PM 1/16/2010, wrote: >Please don't think I'm a big druggie (grin), but I had smoked weed for 25 >yrs, recreationaly. Guest guest
Yep, rofl, the south is not down with any kind of marijuana. Not " user friendly " . We're in good shape, aren't we, lol. I forgot the sinus mess 24/7. How did I forget that? Ow, back and whiplash! Were you in a wreck? California is leading the way with MM. Here in colorado the opposition is throwing hissy fits. When the denver post writes a article about MM scads of people write in arguing back and forth. Sigh. People gripe that there are only a few doctors writing scripts for it and how " evil " those doctors are. The only proof I have is two blood tests that show my serum ferritin was way high. Wonderful old lifestyle you had. You'll get it back. Kuel about the band. It would suck a lot of energy having to be on when you are up there. At the same time it would be a release. Playing to a good crowd would help. As a kid I took piano for seven years and all I can play is the radio, hah. That's horrible how the crash happened. Knowing what I know now I can recognize it. In the late 90's when I was the sickest I'd walk like I was drunk, running into things, loosing my balance, overreacting to everything. Had the worst IBS. Going for walks was asking for an accident. I can see how the lack of endorphins nailed us. I'm glad you are having good success with LDN and iodine. I'm on 12.5 mg lugols and have been up to 50mg. Didn't feel any different, but need it anyway. Thanks for the doctor tip. I guess most doctors are afraid to go anywhere near MM here. From what I've read anyway. ~ > > I have a similar list of health issues: fibro, Hashi's, skin sensitivities, > pain, brain fog, with the exception that cfs hasn't been part of it, and I > only had the adrenal issue recently.
