Guest guest
I am cross posting this (from Autism_LDN), since I am hoping to get some help before tonight's LDN dose. The fever keeps going up and she is still crying off and on and says she feels worse and worse. She is normally pretty easy going when she is sick, but this has been more alarming. Just need to know if I should dose the LDN tonight or not. I know it might be detrimental if I don't, but not sure. Original message: I recently started my 2 children on LDN. My ASD son doesn't seem phased in the least, although I notice he is not getting over his recent illness a quickly as usual. My daughter (age 9), however, is sleeping until 11 AM and is moping about not feeling well. I can't seem to get her to do anything. All she wants to do is lay in bed. I took her out of school this year due to her many illnesses (the opposite of her brother and she is not ASD) to homeschool her. She has mycoplasma pneumonia every winter and she just had it about 3 weeks ago. She also has asthma and eczema. The last labs she had run showed her mycoplasma (IgM) at 1448 (range 0-769) and low NK activity. She also had high CD3 pos lymphocytes, low CD3 & CD25 lymphs and low neutrophils. I am just wondering how long one might expect this to last. She is on her 3rd full dose day and was at half dose for one week prior. This all started when I went to the full dose. I do know to just try and get through it, but guess I am in need of encouragement! Updated OK, so now she is running a fever (101) and crying off and on. She also says her stomach hurts and has not eaten at all today. So do I continue with the full LDN dose tonight? Half dose? Is this pretty typical of the kids with lower immune dysfunction? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Jane
