Guest guest
I have had reynauds for a good while, don't know if it is connected to thyroid since I had a partial thyroidectomy many moons ago, and it is only this last -three four years I have had reynauds. LDN has not really helped that, but oh my goodness, it sure has helped so much else, so I ain't complaining!!:-)))) Celia
Guest guest
> Has anyone has any success with Raynaud's lessening on the LDN? > > Thanks! > Jane Hi Jane, My brother has been taking LDN for about 4-5 months for polymyositis. He has suffered with Raynauds for about 5 years. Although his rheumatologist has tried numerous things to help, nothing has. At about the same time as starting LDN, he quit taking plaquenil (due to vision changes) and lowered his Imuran to 100mg/ day from 150 - he hopes to wean off of it altogether soon. He also started a daily regimen of 5000 IU of vitamin D, 1000 mg(?) vitamin C, and 2000(?) mg of fish oil. He is very happy that his fingers are a healthy pink this winter compared to blue in past years. His CK levels have been very good - 150 to low 200s. I did post a while back about his reversal of interstitial lung disease (Currently NED! The doctor was quite surprised!). Is it the LDN?, the vitamins?, the fish oil?, stopping the plaquenil? No way to know, but he is more positive about his long term health than he has been in years. Best to you, Steve
