Hi Monnie,

My GP used to but unfortunately some time ago a guy with cancer arrived

unannounced at her surgery (her name somehow got onto the list of

prescribing doctors) and when she wouldn't prescribe it for him without

knowing more details of his medical history he apparently became quite

belligerent and almost tried to scare her into prescribing it, so she

asked for her name to be removed from the list. I only heard her side

of the story of course but she is a gentle soul and whilst the guy may

have built up unrealistic expectations I have no doubt that knowingly

or not he scared her witless.
