Guest guest
Lany, It's funny you ask about the gallbladder. I just went today to have it scanned. I will know sometime next week if I have to get it removed. I also had a root canal when I was having a lot of infections. I had saline for 3 years. Guest guest
I have had my gall bladder scanned twice over the years for the gripping pain that occurs at times, yet nothing has ever shown up. They can't seem to find the problem, but the pain is there and I monitor my food so I don't eat the things that cause it to hurt. Guest guest
My esophagus and stomach burns. My stomach takes spells of feeling like a hard knot and I have to use Propulsid to make my stomach digest. I don't take it all the time because it causes diarrhea. When I was getting ready for my colonoscopy, I had to stop eating at noon the day before and start taking the liquid they gave me. After hours of drinking that stuff, my early lunch came back up just like it was when it went in...even the cottage cheese. I don't have the acid reflux though unless I eat spicy foods. Anything even half way greasy makes me sick. The gastroenterologist who did my colonoscopy said he didn't think it was necessary to run any more tests...his reasoning...he said he wouldn't find anything any way. Guest guest
Pam, About your gallbladder, does watching what you eat help? It doesn't seem to help me much. I drink water and my stomach gets upset. I feel like the muscles by my gallbladder spasm a lot and there's a lot of pain and burning. Thanks Shirl shg713@... shirl713@... <A HREF= " http://www.alladvantage.com/home.asp?refid=AUR984 " >Heres a way to make money on the Internet just for surfing. It's free! Sign up now! Guest guest
Drinking water bothers me sometimes. I have been adding lemon to my drinking water and that seems to help. The $1 store had bottles of lemon concentrate and it tastes really good. Filtering the water doesn't seem to do much for me. The biggest offender for me is anything fried or spicey. The grandkids like a local pizza parlar that is all you can eat for $4.95 and I just can't eat there at all. It will make me sick for three days. The pain when it hits, feels as if someone has socked me just below the right rib cage. Since the two gall bladder tests I have had done didn't show up anything, I just try to manage it on my own. It makes for bland diets, but that is better than being sick. The stomach acts up with a lot of pain with spicey foods too. So, around here, food tastes pretty blah! My family wouldn't know what to do with a meal that " tastes good " .
