It's not really a cyst but I have a strange growth on my eyelid. It

just appeared suddenly a few months ago and looks like a regular mole

except it is not dark but skin colored. It is right on the edge of

the eyelid where the eyelashes grow. Seeing our LLMD next week and

will ask him about it. I suspect it is either from the lyme or the

antibiotics and if he doesn't know I will probably refer to a

dermatologist. It's the speed with which it grew that has me most

concerned. Anyone else have anything similar.

If it truly was a gangelion cyst........they grow and fill with fluid, and

then burst, sometimes they fill again, sometimes they never return. Yet

other times, they interfere with movement and are painful because they grow

on the tendon.

Mine was on a tendon in my wrist..........It would grow large and then

pop.....this went on for years........until one day it burst and never came

back.

Dear Cyntha,

Are you seeing the LL eye doctor in Lancaster? I saw him yesterday, looks like

I may not be getting glaucoma (runs in my family) but he had me tested for

Sjrogens and I see him again in a month. He is a neuro-opthamologist and knows

more about Lyme than any LLMD I have ever seen! Call me if you can find my

number.

Have you had your ACE level tested in your blood?

Have either of you (Cyntha or Michele),

had your ace levels tested?

Sarcoidosis..........which could be triggered by the lyme disease.

causes granulomas.........affecting eyes, lungs, kidneys, and cause growths

on skin.

Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE) levels that are raised can indicate this

auto-immune disease.

Dear Connie,

Is this in any way related to the condition called skin tags?

I'm also wondering if anyone's been diagnosed with lipomas (sp?), fatty

cysts, and had them connected to Lyme? About 6 years of so I developed a

lot of lumps under my skin - mostly on arms & legs, some on abdomen. Same

doctor who thought I didn't have Lyme (negative titer/no rash) 3 years ago

diagnosed these as lipomas.

thanks,

bluesky

Dear ,

Please say more, if possible. Perhaps a for-instance of how some particular

plant or animal enzyme works on something else, if you are just making a

generous guess-suggestion.

I am not really familiar with enzyme action in the body.

thanks

Digest what? Granulomas? Skin Tags?

Sarcoidosis can be a serious organ destroying auto-immune disease.

No but that sure is a good thing to know. Will ask the doctor to do one.
