A week or two ago he sent me to a new ENT who found probable yeast in my esophagus. Ever since then the GP has been ordering high powered tests, since he says there must be something else wrong or I wouldn't have yeast in the esophagous. I'm going to talk to the old GP about whether this stressful testing is really necessary. > > I have basically two questions. > > One is, is the new GP right, that a normally healthy person wouldn't > get both mouth and esophageal yeast and have it take a long time to > heal? He had me scared witless about esophageal cancer (initial > negative test on that by an upper GI test, but he wants an endoscopy), now he's talking about an immune system problem since some blood tests (PLT, ANA, SED) are high. ==>A person who has thrush can't normally healthy because thrush (candida overgrowth in the mouth) is caused by a depressed immune system. And yes, a person can have both mouth and esophageal yeast, along with yeast in the stomach, intestines, and other mucus membranes in the body. Thrush and esophageal yeast indicates the person has yeast overgrowth in their intestines as well, which is where most candida resides. Esophageal yeast is usually found in people who have acid reflux. Candida is a precursor to cancer - see articles on my website: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu2_1_2.php There are no quick fixes for candida/yeast so bouts with nystatin or diflucan will not help. The immune system needs to be built up their with diet and supplements. That's why this candida program works so well, because it builds up the immune system with all of the nutrients the body needs to normalize, along with cutting off foods that feed candida (mostly sugar and high carbs) and elimination of damaging foods. <snip> > I am off to read Bee's information, I was just hoping I could get the benefit of other people's experiences, ==>It is important to read first so you fully understand how candida gets out of control and about how this program can cure it. I cured my candida 20 years ago and also ran a Candida Support Group at that time. This program is a culmination of all that experience plus research. If you're eating a lot of sugars or high-carb foods, you can be sure any reactions are from Candida. If you're on a strict candida diet and consuming a lot of anti-fungals and foods known to help " kill " candida then it's probably die-off. > > 3. Sometimes one can eat small amounts on occasion of a sugar or higher carb food without any reaction. But if you truly have candida and ate that way all the time I can't imagine there not being any adverse reactions. Gail > > Thanks >

Guest guest
I think you should do some research on iodine. look at http://www.iodine4health.com http://www.helpmythyroid.com http://www.optimox.com click on research or join iodine 8 drops of Lugols could certainly cure your hypo. I take the same amount, 50mg Iodoral per day. I still take thyroid meds b/c half of my thyroid gland was mistakenly removed. you are so lucky to have a doc who knows something. Where is he and what is his name? Gracia I'm sure this is a question that has been hashed and re-hashed here. If you could point me to a message number I can read the archives and save everyone the bother of replying. :-) Here's my question: Has anyone here been " cured " of hypo by taking Lugol's or other iodine supplements? My doc has given me Lugols to be taken 8 drops each day; along with some B vitamins, fish oil, etc. When I figured out that it would take over a cup of dried granulated kelp to equal that amount of Iodine, I stopped taking it. That sounds like an overdose to me. How in the world would the body require that much iodine? As an intro, I'll say I was recently diagnosed with hypo. Readings were T4=0.33 T3=1.0 TSH=142.5 Raphael
Guest guest
Hi , I'll try to answer your questions as best I can. > You say only a small amount of stevia and lemon should be used. Does that mean just enough for the egg drink and electrolyte drinks? You can have a little more if you wish, but do try to keep it to a minimum because it can cause cravings, so you might not want to take much more than that. I don't even use it in those drinks. > If I take saurkraut with each meal, do I also need to take HCl since you said it neutralizes the stomach? No, you can take either or. I find I get very painful burning with just one HCL capsule, so I stick exclusively to the sauerkraut. Other people only take the HCL. > If I need a painkiller during this diet, is it ok to take one (without a sugar coating?) Bee recommends White Willow Bark. You can buy it most health food stores or on iHerb.com. It's a non-toxic pain reliever. Oil of oregano is also a good pain reliever. You can sniff the bottle or mix it with coconut oil to rub it onto sore muscles and joints. > Is not eating organic considered cheating on the diet? Not exactly. Some of us can't buy organic foods, so we do the best we can with the foods that are available to us. Of course, it's best to eat only certified organic foods because they are raised/grown in the proper environment and don't contain hormones, pesticides, etc. I'd say if you could only afford one organic thing, go for organic eggs. > I've heard from many people that tomatoes are not allowed on the candida diet. This is not true? Bee's program allows tomatoes. > Since the Brita or Pur filters do not remove fluoride, what do you recommend? Bee has said in the past that we can't avoid all fluoride, especially in water, so it's best to avoid other sources of fluoride such as toothpaste, dental treatments, etc. > A friend recommended that I take Miracle Mineral Solution--chlorine dioxide--to kill off the candida. Have you heard of this and what do you think of it? Bee doesn't recommend any extraneous treatments like the one you mention. They are really hard on our already-taxed systems. Plus, chlorine sounds pretty toxic to me. Besides, you don't heal candida by 'killing it off.' The only way to heal an overgrowth of candida is by strengthening the immune system by eating proper nutrients (Bee's diet + supplements) so that your immune system can 'make' the candida 'change back' into the healthy entity it is supposed to be. It is also helpful not to continue to feed the candida with sugars and toxic foods. > With all the contradictory information out there, how do I know who to trust?! Often you can tell what is not correct by following the money trail. See what the writers of that information have to gain from it and it will probably become clear. I guess you just have to read and find out for yourself what rings true for you. For me, it was Bee's program. Everything she writes just makes sense and somewhere deep inside I just knew that this was the right thing for me. Not only that, but after a short time on her program I began to see *real* results and that sealed the deal. Take a look at the Success Stories. These people have all been helped with Bee's program, so she must be doing something right! http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php I hope that helps! > > Hi there, > > So, now that I've done my required reading and research, I have some more questions. > <snip> > > With all the contradictory information out there, how do I know who to trust?! > > Thank you very very much. > > Best, > > >
Guest guest
Thanks so much . I do have one more question. I was on a candida diet for about 4 months before findng this one. I didn't experience any die-off though and every time I'd reintroduce something small, like rice, I'd have brain fog and/or diarrhea. I think this is because I wasn't taking any supplements, and would often " cheat " with bacon (with sugar) and smoked salmon, also vodka because I heard it was allowed, dried pumpkin and green beans (very sweet) and rice and would often eat huge amounts of vegetables often without protein. Does this explanation for still having candida make sense? Again, thanks so much. > > > > Hi there, > > > > So, now that I've done my required reading and research, I have some more questions. > > > <snip> > > > > With all the contradictory information out there, how do I know who to trust?! > > > > Thank you very very much. > > > > Best, > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Ok, I clipped my message this time. One last thing. I've been taking digestive enzymes to help me digest meat. I assume if I follow the diet and supplements I shouldn't need them? Also, I've been taking acidophilus. Is it pointless to take probiotics now since they won't implant in the intestine with all the candida? Is it possible that emotional and environmental stress can keep me from healing even while on the diet/supplements? I feel that has been another factor in why my 4 month long candida diet has not worked thus far. Sorry for all the messages, and thanks a million. Guest guest
Hi , I think I've understood your question correctly. If you were eating a bunch of foods that are not allowed on Bee's diet, you were probably feeding the candida just enough that you weren't causing any die off to occur. And then, every time you would introduce something like rice, the reaction you were feeling was probably just from feeding the candida more. Four months isn't a very long time to heal a candida overgrowth and certainly if you were already cheating more than a few times, it wasn't yet time to reintroduce foods. I'm sure you will notice die off on Bee's program! Hopefully that answers your question. > > Thanks so much . > > I do have one more question. Guest guest
Hi , I think you need to be careful about 'food source' vitamins. I know that some Vitamin C comes from cherries, but cherries (or other fruits besides lemons and limes) are not allowed on the diet, so that would not be a good choice. Other 'food source' vitamins I've seen contain beets and carrots which are also not allowed on the diet. You need to make sure that the where the ingredients are derived are also allowed on the diet. Make sure your supplements follow Bee's recommendations: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/supp1.php > > Oh and regarding vitamins. Is it best to take organic/food source vitamins or does it not matter? > > Thanks, > > >

I assume if I follow the diet and supplements I shouldn't need them? +++Hi . Yes, that is correct. However, you may need to take Betaine Hydrochloric Acid to help your digestion (if you have digestive problems), or eat 1/4 to 1/2 of good unpasteurized sauerkraut with every meal. Meats and good fats are the very easiest foods for our bodies to digest, compared to carbs, and high carb diets also interfere with the body's ability to digest foods properly. > > Also, I've been taking acidophilus. Is it pointless to take probiotics now since they won't implant in the intestine with all the candida? +++Yes, that is true. In fact I believe probiotics aren't necessary at any time, since as your body heals itself it will naturally start producing good bacteria as you progress on this program. > > Is it possible that emotional and environmental stress can keep me from healing even while on the diet/supplements? I feel that has been another factor in why my 4 month long candida diet has not worked thus far. +++As wrote 4 months is a very short time to expect results, since natural healing takes 1 month for every year you've been unhealthy. For most people nowadays that is since before they were born. During the healing process your body will also " retrace " each and every symptom, disease, illness, injury, organ malfunction, etc. as well, so there will be many ups and downs - this is according to Hering's Law of Cure: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal8.php You can be assured that if you follow this program accurately and completely your body will be progressing towards total health, so any symptoms you experience in the meantime will be die-off/healing/detox symptoms (all the same thing) and/or retracing symptoms that indicate the body's effort to heal itself. Guest guest
Betsy, I don't suggest excess salt programs but if you do it anyway, be sure to use potassium (No-Salt etc) as well to keep your electrolytes balanced. Excess sodium combined with the inadequate potassium intake a lot of us experience causes a wasting called rhabdomyolysis, which carries a heart attack risk as well as muscle wasting and soreness similar to what statin drugs cause. No doubt you don't get this caution from Bee as she will not either address points of science that disagrees with her OR have the common sense and decency to issue warnings about the more dangerous of her opinions to her readers. I know, I've tried too. all good, Duncan Crow > > I have been flip flopping back and forth between this site and Bea's and decided this is the one for me.....That woman scares me....she has a major God complex and in the short time I have been reading her responses to posts I have come to realize she really thinks she's God. Guest guest
> > Hi. I'm new and I haven't found answers to my questions just by looking around, so I thought I'd post and ask for help. First, when/how will I know that I am candida free if I'm not getting tested by a doctor? Second, will I ever be able to incorporate fruit, grains, and maybe dairy back into my diet? If I do reintroduce these foods, will an overgrowth of candida be an almost certain direct result? > +++Hi . Welcome to our group. This is an overall healing program so it isn't just about curing candida since your health was going downhill long before candida occurred. Total health means " free-of dis-ease, " so you wouldn't have any of the symptoms, aches, pains, malfunctioning organs, etc. you had that led up to you getting candida and while you had candida. In fact all dis-ease processes are exactly the same as healing and detoxifying processes created by the body itself in an effort to maintain its health, in spite of poor nutrition, toxins, etc. The only difference for people on this healthy program is they are now progressing towards health, and treating the " true " causes of dis-ease, rather than becoming more and more unhealthy because they are giving their body what it needs to " be healthy " according to Nature's Laws on Health. The medical field labels each and every " sign " of poor health as separate dis-eases, illnesses, symptoms, etc. However all of them are simply " signs " the body is working hard at maintaining its health, so all of those " signs " are actually normal body reactions. Remember, you don't get sick from a lack of drugs! You can only get healthy by: 1) Consuming " proper nutrients " (diet plus supplements), 2) Eliminating toxins and foods that feed candida (they also feed bacteria and cancer), 3) Eliminating damaging foods, and 4) Eliminating toxins in general. When you are healthy enough your body automatically " makes " candida (or any bug, cancer, etc.) change back into the organism it is supposed to be when the body is healthy. It's like the manure pile and the flies, with the manure pile representing the poor condition of the body. You cannot get rid of the manure pile by killing off the flies. You must clean up the manure pile instead, which means building up your immune system. In order to maintain life-long health you'd still need to follow the basic principles of this program. I do have a program for healthy people which is in Foods That Damage, Foods That Heal. Please ensure you read two important articles so you know what you need to do and why: How to Successfully Overcome Candida: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php Curing Candida, How to Get Started: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php For encouragement and inspiration see these wonderful Success Stories by members of this group: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php The best in health, Bee
