What to replace tramado/ultram with????

I posted recently about getting my LDN script. I guess I minimised the act of

quitting the tramadol as I was anxious to start the LDN dosing. I don't know as

I have an addiction to tramadol but I know when I stopped taking it and tried

Ibuprofen instead I had a couple of problems. As I have always been very

sensitive to any meds and their side effects I realised why I chose tramadol as

it worked and I don't recall any serious issues with it after trying so many

others..

The Ibu immediately tore up my stomach and caused instant constipation and

other problems. It also did not affect the serious pain. I have fibro,

osteo, rheumatoid arthritis pain. I found the worst pain is in an old injury to

the lumbar spine which has OA as a complication. I suspect the fibro has

sensitised my body and amplified all the pains I suffer. I can and do live with

a certain amount of chronic pain but this lumbar degenerative disc disease will

wake me out of a sound sleep and feel like a 10 or more on the pain scale. The

kind of pain that could make a grown man cry.

So I ask what others have done who had to replace a pain med for serious pain.I

was able to get down to about 200mgs per day and take nothing else except a

thyroid med and herbs and vitamins. ??? As always , thanks in advance and hope

you are all doing well with LDN.
